When visiting the Outback Steakhouse website in search of an email club to join in hopes of being sent a few Outback Steakhouse coupons, we instead found a rewards based program that gives you points for eating there. You do receive 250 points just for joining the program and by looking at the rewards prizes that you can redeem your points for this represents 10% of a free appetizer coupon. We wanted to know how the points were totaled and how much a $40 meal would earn you in points. This is what we found on their official rules.
"The Point value associated with each Code is based on the amount of the consumer's net purchase amount spent on food and beverages excluding tax, gratuity, or gift card purchases, and may vary based on restaurant location. Purchases made with Outback Steakhouse coupons or gift certificates are not eligible for this Program. Sponsor reserves the right to change the number of Points awarded for purchases at any time during the Program, and the right to change, add, or remove the methods by which Participants may collect Points. Limit: Each participant may enter up to three (3) Codes per day
